MY WORK AT BOMBINATE
the destination for men who care about quality.
During my undergraduate studies, I interviewed four university graduates from Geneva, Switzerland, who had completed the Mongol Rally to raise money for charity (2016). The interview was published in Seek & Venture magazine (p. 88).
Later that year, two of the interviewees - Massimiliano Gritti and Elliott Aeschlimann Perales - approached me with the plan of founding their own start-up company in London, inspired by their trip across Europe.
Determined to reintroduce authentic, artisanal manufacture and offer premium menswear and lifestyle goods, the duo set out to create a modern e-commerce for men that would represent Europe's finest craftsmanship brands.
In October 2016, Bombinate was born.
Joining the founding team as the platform's sole copywriter, I spearheaded the brand’s written identity and communication - creating and curating product descriptions, brand storytelling, email marketing, social media and editorial content for over 110 international brands.
Led by my passion for visual storytelling, I also shot editorial content for various brands at Bombinate: most notably, a swimwear campaign for Apnée Paris that was featured on the brand's website and at its Parisian store. In 2017, I was made Head of Content, overseeing all written and visual communications across the site.
Bombinate continued on its path in becoming a multi-category marketplace honouring exceptional craftsmanship and lifestyle brands worldwide.
